Biography Van Cauter Tim

Tim Van Cauter is general manager of the law firm.

In 2004 he gained a ‘licentiaat’ (equivalent to a MA) in Law with high distinction (magna cum laude) at the University of Ghent. In addition, he holds a complementary Master’s degree in Business Law, which he passed at the University of Antwerp with distinction (cum laude) in 2012 and a Master’s degree in Laws in Taxation, which he also passed with distinction in 2015 at the University of Ghent.

After graduating in 2004, Tim was an attorney-at-law in Brussels until early 2010. He was articled to the law firm Stibbe as a trainee and as associate to the law firms Liedekerke and Loyens & Loeff. As from 2011 until 2014 he was Tim was a corporate lawyer.

Tim is being called to the bar in the judicial district of West Flanders since 1 October 2014.

For 7 years, Tim was also a part-time assistant in public law at the VUB (Free University of Brussels). Tim regularly gives training courses and is the author of several learned papers in public procurement, contracting and real estate.
